Tyler Spangler is a freelance graphic designer from Southern California. He has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and attended Art Center College of Design for Graphic Design for one year before dropping out to start his own freelance design business.

In between graduating from Long Beach and attending art school, Tyler booked local punk shows and opened up a warehouse hosting 50 bands in three weeks before being shut down by authorities.

Tyler has worked with a wide variety of clients such as: Hermès, Gucci, United Nations, Adobe, Coach, Nike, Adidas, Facebook, Instagram, Starbucks, New Balance, Ricola, Perrier, Rolling Stone Magazine, and The New York Times among others.

From Forbes feature: “Tyler Spangler's work is all about the mashup of context and perception, with a massive injection of color. He looks at the formalist relationship between images as they are removed from their original context. Connected to this, Spangler explores the significance of color, form, and photography through the medium of his digital collage.”

His background has undoubtedly had a massive impact on his artwork, if you've not guessed he studied psychology at college, and he attended the Art Center College of Design. He also ran an illegal punk venue for thirteen shows until it got shut down by police. All of these elements combined play their part to influence and build his aesthetic."
